Once everything has been submitted, Management will submit your application to the La Vita Architectural Committee for review and discussion. Once your application has been approved or denied, Management will email a copy of the review letter based on the Arc Committee's decision.

In a multi-story condominium, noise travels father than just the neighbors next to you, above, and below you. This is why the association requires that you provide a timeline of your construction after you receive architectural approval from the La Vita Architectural Committee. You'll be required to provide notices to the residents on your current floor, the floor below you, and the floor above you. In addition, the association will place notices in the elevator and sent out a Carson notice.

Yes, please wait to receive approval before starting any work in your unit. This will help you avoid delays to your project and prevent potential compliance fines to the owner's account.
Every submission is unique, but all applications will require a description of the proposed work, locations of the work being proposed, the contractors license number, an insurance certificate with the association listed as additionally insured.
The contractor completing the approved work will need an insurance certificate for general liability and workers comp (if applicable) that has a minimum of $1,000,000.00 for each policy. Again, the association needs to be listed as additionally insured before any work starts.

Management will email you with the Committee's decision once all requirements have been submitted and reviewed.
The association will pad and lock the elevator once your contractor is onsite. We require padding in the elevator for anything brought or taken out of the building that cannot be held with two hands. If you are unsure if you need the elevator padded, please contact Management.
You need to contact Management and schedule a water shut off that has a minimum of a 48-hour notice to the residents affected by the water shut off. If you aren't using the contractor who is licensed and insured to complete the plumbing work, the selected vendor will need to provide an insurance certificate with the association listed as additionally insured.
